That was so nice of you Bill!
You can see mine here:

Sorry its not he best picture, but you can see the top of it.
Nice thing about this position is it gets cooled by incoming air through the rad support and a little bit by the fan.
I drilled the holes int he rad support and used the supplied plate on the grill side, you can see the plate in the bottom right of this pic, and see how it gets cooled there:

(cooled by air coming through the hole above the plate.
Plus its easily accessable for airing up (I have a chuck on mine, works ok but I usually just drive home aired down)
Maybe I can get a picture of the compressor itself someday instead of jsut everything around it

How much air do those pumps make? I bought a 12V Puma compressor to locate in my 99 chassis. I'm going to have to locate it in three pieces, but it makes 3.4cfm at 90psi.

Hello Joe, where did that cover come from? I have a plan to mount mine in the right rear window, face up like that, and a cover would be a good idea.

The cap on the quick disconnect is off a hyd. fittiing I found at work. I also have a large round piece soft plastic that i am going to put over the top of compressor.here is the northwest we see alot of mud and rain and I don't want the compressor to take a direct hit.

I understand. My 12V compressor is too large to go under the hood. I'll be mounting mine on the frame, behind the left tire. I plan to make an aluminum cover to keep the tire from throwing mud on it. Regards,
