If you only hear it when it engages, this is normal on most '02 and later Fords. I have an '02 Explorer & an '06 Mustang GT and they both do it. In fact, compressors have always clicked, but they must have made some changes in '02 which makes the click louder. If you are hearing it every couple of seconds, it means that your A/C unit is either low on refrigerant or is over charged. |
