I just finished replacing the lower intake gasket on my 94 Exp. 4.0L and now the engine has a serious ticking noise that sounds just like noisy lifters. However, I didn't mess with the lifters. The noise is there at any RPM. I did install new o-rings on the injectors but other than that all I did was clean everything and install new Ford gaskets. Any ideas?
