ok my guy at everything relates things to his explorer but i never thought he could relate it to dating...or atleast hoped and wish but he did.
Girls tell me what you think on this cause its just crazy to me....what would you say back to something like this. Also have any of you had this problem?

.......i think a great wasy to expain this and dont take this in any wierd sick demented way but being in a relationship is like builing a truck. you start of with the basics and you just add to it. do your best not to scratch it althoiugh its may get a few, and dont waste time on stupid shit when there are better things to get to. like you dont want to put nasty pink seats in when you need a bigger intake. it just creates problems later. thats kinda how i plan my shit, hit the important stuff first then get to the crazy shit. so wheve hit the basics, i know i wanna be with you, even 15000 miles away i still know what i want. weve added to it upgraded from freinds to dating to love. im always looking to improve what i got, and you saying that you wanted more from us just gave that spark a bucket of water so cook in and now were makin progress. you cant see it tell whenever we fisnish what we started but i know how i watn it all to go. you should be surpised on what you can do with paint on a computer. iv planned out everything for the most part. well more like 90% of the small detail iv hit, the big shit is a no brainer, you,me and some other peeps.......

Interesting Post
My wife could care less about my ride, as long as I keep hers maintained, washed and waxed.
any relationship is hinged on sharing the load, I cook, I clean, I do laundry(only time i get to touch my wifes undergarments anymore)
This could be a great wakeup call for the site mods as the site is getting huge and very diverse,WE NEED A DEAR ABBY TYPE FORUM:) have a nice day.

o man dont think i could do that one. me and jon both love ours. we would wake up at 3 am and just go work on it or go mudding or what not. i buy things for them for us to add and i love working on it with him. only problem we have is i like it clean and shinny and he likes it dirty and covered in mud. but i can relate to the laundry doing and all that. hes a baby when it comes to that. i even do his hair for him. check out our truck...

That is the absolute worst thing to do, you poor girls already have to hear about our project trucks enough without making that comparision.

I love my truck, I spend alot of time with it, building it, driving it, etc but at the end of the day its just a truck......bolts and metal.

I know right. I love trucks dont get me wrong. it took me almost a year before he would say he liked me more then the truck. 2 years now and im like more then the truck but everything about us is some how related to the truck. In a way its kinda funny but i think i should be worried. :D

thats the thing, no matter how much a guy loves his truck, it can never compare to a girl, so that just makes us guys think you girls are nuts for thinking the truck is more important than you. The two things, girls and trucks, are on two different planes...

Boys will be boys, truck work = keeps you out of trouble, lets you work with your hands, keeps you away from the TV, and most importantly lets you be a guy (drive truck over rock, fix truck again, camping, make it faster, etc)

I stumbled over this thread by accident but had a great time reading it, it's a very good piont that i love my truck no questions about that i spend most of my day with it and it brings home dinner more often then not but a woman is a sacred creature and the love and devotion i believe i show towards my girlfriend is a completely different type of love, yes i would rather spend a day underneath the ford than a day with her parents but at the end of the day it's only 3000 pounds of metal, so if your guy is spending more time and devoting more love to his truck than you, he's over compenstating for other short comings ! Good Luck Max
