I have found a 4.0 L motor out of a 94 Aerostar minivan. My research says it will swap in my 91 X (stock powerplant). Has anyone done this or can confirm that it will work?

I will likely buy it because if I can't use it I know someone that uses old areostars for on-site transportation. But if it won't work it would be nice to know.

same engine, layout under hood is different, upper intake /throttle body, etc may be different. Other then that it is the same OHV 4.0L, just stuffed in there funny.

So as long as I use my stuff from my X and stick it on the areostar short block, then it will work.
