The Xbox 360 is more powerful machine despite all this "teraflop" talk. Not to mention the console will be priced at $400 while Xbox 360 is $300. PS3 also confirmed not to ship with a HD.

True, but the PS3 looks better (besides the controllers). I think the first console out is going to prevail (M$). I don't think people will notice the speed difference between the 2.

I'm sure this will turn into one of those "Oh ya! Well my dad can beat up your dad!" type of threads like all the previous XBOX vs. PS threads.

IMO I dont really like the look of either console, but I would have to choose the Xbox 360 I like the more "traditional" look if you know what I mean. I can't wait until both consoles are out so we can truely see what comes out on top. Until then, X360 all the way :confused:

I think Sony is waiting to see what they're up against, then they'll top it, just like what M$ did with the PS2's release. I heard the companies actually lose money on the consoles and make their money from the games. It sounds possible but really doesn't make sense.

i'll buy both anyway, just like with ps2 and xbox.
i do play xbox a lot more though. mostly because xbox live is a lot better that playing ps2 online.

I'll be getting the Xbox and Not the ps3. just personal preference.

Yeah i will mostly end up buying both just like ps2 and xbox cause they both have ups and downs but both still kick ass.

i will buy xbox cause they own the rights to the Rare comapany and its games, perfect dark and conkers bad fur day are made by rare. i go where rare goes
