I have a 91 EB. I have noticed that my coolant level has been low. I add more as needed. I don't have any leaks that I can see. Also no coolant is getting into the oil which is good! But I can't figure out what's going on. Has anyone else had this problem? Help needed!!!

Is there fluid in your overflow reservoir? Mine had a crack in the bottom so I lost the fluid as I was driving and then there was none in there to be sucked back into the radiator as it cooled.

I have a 92 XLT. Had this problem about 2-1/2 yrs ago. Added a product to coolant called BARSLEAKS (it supposedly is added by some OEMs at the factory). Most auto parts stores carry it and it only costs about 3 bucks. I gave it a try as I too couldn't find any leaks. Since adding this stuff I haven't added any coolant. Recently replaced my radiator (seam split) and t-stat. Everything was really clean inside-no crud. Just my .02...

I just had the same problem.(92 xlt) I could not figure out where my fluid was going, But I could smell antifreeze. Finally I got a mirror to look around in tight areas. I found a pin size leak on one of my head gaskets. passenger side. I ended up pulling the heads myself. NOT FUN!! Once the head was off I could clearly see where the gasket blew. Hopefully this is not your problem. Hope this might help!

Ok, I found the leak, my cap could not hold any pressure and was leaking the fluid from there. Thanks for all your help.
