i have a 2000 sport that came with a cassette player and i wanted to upgrade to an aftermarket cd player...i was wondering if there is a theft lock on the audio system and also will i need a wiring harness adapter to connect to the ford system?

yes you will need a harness to connect the aftermarket unit to your truck, and there isn't a theft system, so its safe t ojust remove it and install a new one
