The aftermath of a windstorm we had a few weekends ago... we have a lot of 30-40ft cottonwoods in our lower property.

hope it was insured. or... if the axles werent bent, you have new axles for a sas ;)

haha, nope not insured.. barely run, were tryin to sell it anyway. And could only get 1 axle out of that.. the front was actually leaf-sprung TTB :confused:
we got rid of it for $75.

and unfortunately, I didn't get more pics after the tree extraction... that took literally all day. I'd say each 2-3ft of that tree weight atleast 250lbs.
Needless to say, we had to pull most of it off the truck, which ended up destroying the ONE good door it still had :D

Sorry about your truck. You should have taking a picture of it and put it on Ebay as a custom Heavy duty Tree hauler.. :p

man! a truck that old with that little rust?! Up here in salt and snow country, that effie would have had no cab corners, or a box!

i would call alaska snow country too..lol we dont have a rust prob up here..my '91 f-250 has ZERO rust on it. from what i gather they dont use salt here. they like to use a chemical that is non-corrosive.

when was the wind storm? must not have hit us here in town? i live on the hillside an i dont rember anything..lol

they don't use a whole lot of salt over here in Alaska :D
hell, sometimes it takes 'em 2 days to plow the highway :rolleyes:

that sucks about the truck dude, gotta love those chinook winds...
