i want to change thebulbs to blue by painting them with clear blue hobby paint has anyone done this

Oh lawdy I hate to admit it, and tried not to, but I had to stop you from doing this. It looked good at first, but burned to blackish nasty stuff
I was going to get 12v blue led's and get them mounted in the socket somehow ( this spring)
They make silcon light condom thingies, make sure you use silicon though
They weren't BLUE enough though for me

i thought about that s well i replaced my gauge faces with white reverse that came out to such a cheesy looking blue i need to do somthing it look terible next to the alpine unit that looks great i thought if you get the led thing to work post some pic i have a bunch of leds and if that will work im all for it thanks for the help
