Hello, new 2006 Explorer owner and have a question. I recently saw the Pioneer AVIC-D1 Nav system which appears to be MADE to fit the spot where the factory radio/OEM nav goes. I look it up on Crutchfield, etc that says it does not fit. Specified chassis measurements indicate a fit, however I am unsure. Any advice? Should I drop the approx $1K on this system only for it to not fit? I do not wish to mod the dash (vehicle is leased). Thanks!
