Hey guys i'm new to this board. I was reccomended this site by a friend, because i have a small problem. I have 2 explorers, ones a 91 xlt, and the other is a 99 sport. I love them both, although my 91 has a lot more power and 4-wheel drive. Ok now for the problem, i recently bought the 91, the fuse box is completely melted(hack job on the wiring) so i'm looking for a new/used complete wiring harness and no one has one. So i was refered here, hopefully someone could help me out. thanks again guys.

Welcome to the board. Did you try local salvage yards? Your '91 has a lot more power than your '99? Your '99 being newer and lighter since it's a two door should out do your '91. Has your '99 been tuned up lately and the sensors cleaned and so forth?

For the fuse box and wiring harness I would try a local junk yard. It will be a lot cheaper than buying one from the dealer. And im supprised the 91 has more power than the 99. Is the 91 stock or have there been engine mods/re-gearing? If the 91 is stock the 99 should have more power.

the 91 is no where near stock! it's got the 4L short block with what looks to be after market heads and intake and exhaust. plus the motors got less than 30k on it. the 99 is basically stock except for a few tuning changes. also i'm an auto mechanic so both are in perfect working order all the sensors are good! Ive tried every junkyard around me, none of them will pull one out for me and all the pick your parts the harnesses are destroyed! i'm hoping someone is parting on out so i can get it that way. other than that i'm sol!
