i photoshopped some random tires that i thought would look good for my X, and i think they do, its just i dont know what size these would be.. anyone have an idea of what tire size i should buy to replicate this picture of my X?

You mean you want to use a tire that is too wide for the wheel?

You just want either a wide wheel or a spacing on the wheel that will through the wheel out further

Looks like some 17x8" wheels with about 3" backspacing. The tires look like some 32s--say a 265/70/17.

to me it looks like the tires are a little to big for the wheels. but to get the tires to stick outside of the wheel wells you just need to change the backspacing on the wheels

what are the disadvantages and advantages for spacers?

any recomendations on what i should do to get a wider stance for my truck?
