I recently did the TT/shackle lift. I gained about an inch upfront and 2 in. outback. I want to run 31/10.50/15s on stock wheels. Can I do this with no problems? What about my speedo, how is that going to be affected?

Explorer#2 02-23-2006, 06:22 PM you should have no problems, your speedo will be off it will be showing a slower speed than you are doing. if you go from a 29" to 31" tire when your speedo shows 70 you are really doing about 75. IAmTodd 02-23-2006, 07:34 PM You can fit 31s no problem. I run them on my lowered truck. 32s only need minor trimming. 00XLS 02-23-2006, 08:36 PM sweet, i can live with the speedo, 5mph isn't that much Explorer#2 02-23-2006, 08:42 PM if you ever wonder what your real mph is just search speedo calculator on google or something there are a ton out there 00XLS 02-23-2006, 09:43 PM thanks for the tip 96limitedX 02-23-2006, 09:51 PM 31s wont be a prob...i had them on mine with it lowered 2" and no rubbing. and we run 31s on my dads lowered '97 v8 also. no rubbing in either case. caperx 03-01-2006, 07:59 PM what do you need to trim to run 32's |
