JayDub 02-25-2006, 01:22 PM I want 22s so bad, buyt im just thinking about the cost of the tires, which will have to be small. Then I started looking at all these trucks, seeing 20s on 3,4, or 5'' drops, and Im wondering how 2" of rim profile will be worse than 5 less inches of clearance as for the rims, the bigger the better is right. im trying to get my mom to put the new lexani 30s on her tahoe, but she aint havin it LOL draft 02-25-2006, 01:27 PM You don't understand how tires work. Tires are measured in proportion. So when you have, say, 285/45/22, not only is it wider, but the sidewalls are going to be LARGER than a 275/45/20 because of the PROPORTIONING. You cannot fit 45 tires on 2nd jens without lots of rubbing and clearing issues. Do your homework on how tires work and maybe you'll see what I'm talking about. JayDub 02-25-2006, 03:04 PM you really need to learn to not come off as an #######. after reading your post, idont know if you mean to seem like one or not, but every single post from you seem like it. if your not trying too i apologize i appreciate you giving me the answer, thanks, but Id rather not know the answer than be told it like im stupid |
