I have the 15" stock wheels with 235/75/15 tires on them, i wanted to know if there are any other tires that will fit this wheel that will give me a little thinner side wall?

yes there are a ton of sizes, if you just want lower profile, you can easily get a 235/60/15

7 inces wide. Are you looking to keep the same circumference?

no I want to make the cirumference smaller..I'm actually looking for a more street type tire rather than the off road looking stock tires. Its hard to describe but the stock sidewalls look kinda curved, and im looking for the squarish look of street tires

the buldge is because the wheel is only 7 wide. to get the square look you would need a wider rim.

only way to alleviate it with the stock rim is to get a thinner tire. whihc would look kind of odd in my opinion.

I recently put a set of 255x70x15 BFGs on my Sport. They are wider tires than the 235's, but have the same height. This keeps the speedo/odo and PCM in calibration, and still gives a 'sportier' look to the truck.

This was a popular size for truck tires a few years back, before 16, 17, and 18 inch wheels came into vogue. They're a good compromise between performance and affordability.

Sorry no pics, but they look like the stock size from the side, with a 3/4" wider tread.

You'll be fine. It's a 10" wide tire, which some off-road guys run 12.50. I'd say your safe

Yep, I've got the 255's on a 7" wide Mazda wheel, which is the same size as the stock Explorer. Perfect fit.
