If you want components you'll be better off to get a real set that has seperate tweeters. Mounting the tweeters in the stock location isn't good for the front imaging and pretty much negates having the tweeters. If you just want to put something in the stock location go with a good two way or three way 6x8 and you'll get better sound for cheaper.

i was under the impression that i'd have better sound coming out of circular sub rather then an oval in the 6x8's.

i was thinking about just getting 2 for the rear and getting regular 6x8's in the front, then more bass would be heard from the back....and more treble from the front.

You're not going to get much bass at all out of any 5.25" round.

ok i've been looking into some pioneer 6x8's 3-ways and 4-ways.


would you recommend one over the other?
