well guys i found a first gen exlporer for sale and from what i see it has a good body exept a little rust on the rockers under both rear passanger doors.
i belive it runs good and has a nice interior, what i want to know is how much a truck like would go for. its been sitting in a guy backyard for about 6 months then 2 days ago he moved it to the front and i asked him if he would sell and he said yes.
so i want to go to him with a price
please help me out

thanks

Man, honestly it varies alot with your area. Ive seen explorers sell for $3500 that would maybe bring $1500 around here. 1st gen that hasnt ran in atleast 6 months id say no more than $500 but thats what it would be worth in the arkansas texas louisiana area.

it also would depend on the year, and milage of the truck.

I would try to come at him with a low offer, not so low as to insult him though but because its been sitting there, he obviously has no use for it currently. AND if he were to try to see it right now he would have a very difficult time because of the gas prices...

I'd shoot $500 at him. Any reason it hasn't ran for 6 months?
