View Full Version : Sport Trac won't stay running. Derb 08-28-2006, 11:49 AM Hello out there. I'm having trouble with my 01 Sport Trac; it will only run if I keep my foot on the gas. When I let off it dies. Any ideas? I must admit I'm not very mechaniclly inclined, any segestions would be greatly appreciated. Jakee 08-28-2006, 04:23 PM Idle Air Control valve sensor. It's located under the "SOHC" emblem (Big pc of plastic on top of the engine) Had the same problem, and it sounds like the problem you're having.
