I have an 01 sport trac. when the ac is on and it cycles, the motor pulls down almost to the point of it stalling then returns to normal idle. I had it back to the dealer, they charged the system but it still does it. They pretty much gave up saying they would need a whole lot more trouble shooting time of course my expense. Is there anyone else out there that has had this experiance?

Thanks for the for the info, Haven't had a chance to persue your recommendations, seems like everything on the truck is starting to go bad. After having the trans serviced and not driving it for a week, I drove it this morning. The transmission started slipping badly going from first to second. And when it did shift it made a thump. After several minutes the "OD" light on the dash began to flash. Bringing it back to the dealer who did the work tonight. I'll ask that they persue your recommendations.
