Has anyone had a problem with the rear liftgate latch on their BII not full closing/working properly? If so, what exactly is the problem?

the hatch is aligned just like a door, the hinges on both the body and th ehatch are adjustable, as are the striker knobs on the body it latches onto.

If you are having issues with the door handle then remove the plastic shroud that covers the interior of th elift gate and have a look to see what the hang up is, it is a very simple mechanism

I have adjusted the hatch on my BII a few times and replaced the striker bolts twice to keep things tight. You also have to align the tire swing carrier catch plate and door to line up.
