I have done allot of reading but never written, I'm looking to replace the tires on my explorer and figured that it would be nice to get rims. Now I find that Tire Rack and just about everyone out there is scared of my 2000 Explore and will not even recomend wheels. Is the Explorer the same as a F150 4x4?
I would like to upgrade from my teardrops to five star Ford rims do they fit?
Any one have pics of this setup.
Anyone can tell me where can I look.
Thanks guys.

My brother has Cobra-R's (the "5-star") on his '97 Explorer and yes, it does fit -- just match the bolt pattern -- 5 lug on 4.5"

I can take pics for you but his Explorer has been our snowboarding-mobile for the past winter (my van was out of commision) so its a little brutal.

Thank money grubing sue happy people & Firestone for that.
If you ever want to rent a U-Haul trailer make sure you tell them you have a Mountaineer because they won't rent to Explorer owneres.
No F150's have a different bolt pattern. Were you refering to the Cobra wheels IZwhack posted or the Ranger 5 spoke wheels?
