Hey all, I know things like this get posted alot but I'm looking for opinions more than facts.

I'm going to be buying a new set of rubber soon and I'm looking for some opinions and maybe some pictures of what people are running. First the size issue. I'm going to put on some Warrior shackles in the rear and do a TT to level it out, maybe even nose down just a hair. Otherwise the suspension is stock on my 99 Ex sport 4X4

Stock tire size as most of you know is 255/70/r16. I want to go a bit taller and a bit wider. I'm stuck between a 265/70 and a 265/75....I'm thinking the 75's might be tall, I don't want to rub. It's my DD and I only do light off roading with it. Sooo what do you guys think about the size? If anyone has pictures of the setup I want to run with either of these tire sizes please post or PM me a link.

NOW, on to the harder question......what tire to run. I want an aggressive but still road worth A/T Some of the tires I've been looking at are General Grabber AT, Cooper Discoverer S/T, Hankook Dynapro RF10. I Don't want to spend a ton so BFG AT's are out. Anyone have some good suggestions here? Also more pics are good :D :D

I don't want Bridgestone Duelers, I know alot of people like them but I'm not a big fan of that company. Please fire away with opinions! Oh and here's a link to a picture of my Ex if you're interested

I priced the Cooper Discover S/T in a 31x10.5x15 and they were $156 ea:eek: Thats $25 a pc more than BFG A/T's.

I'd go with 265/70's if you don't want to lift it. I had that size on the Ranger I had before and they were fine.

Try Dunlop Radial Rover RVXT's - they're different from the previous model Rover RV's. The tread is "agressive enough" but still very well mannered and quiet for daily driver. I recently bought myself an set and mounted them on the stock 99 wheels. Tirerack prices the 255/70 @ 115 and 265/70 @ $118. I'm sure there would be places where it's cheaper. I was skeptical on getting these tires for a daily driver but FORTUNATELY, I was pleasantly surprised. BTW the tread looks a lot more aggressive in real life - and if you get the LT version, tread depth is a full 16/32 (255/70) and 17/32 for 265/70

BTW I run another set of BFG MT's (32") 265/75 on another set of stock wheels :D. This (last) winter, the dunlops were the "snow tires" on my 06EB while I kept the BFGs on the 99Exp.

Thanks for the info techboj, I actually was looking at these tires last night....found a place that has them for $110 shipped. I'm going to add these to my list of tires I'm considering. Anyone running the General Grabber AT's or Kumho Road Ventures??
