my explorer is crapping out at about 180,000 and im gonna be getting my dad's 2004 impala.

will my 20's fit the impala? and by fit i mean i dont want them to stick out on the sides. they fit flush on the Explorer, should i expect anything different on the impala due to backspacing issues. thanks a ton!

need more info. What wheels? Backspcing? or more importanly, offset? As far as the bolt pattern goes, YES AND NO. X is 5-4.5 (or 114.3mm) Impala is 5-115mm. Never recomended, but in reality that swap is done all the time.

Without knowing the wheels I would say probably won't fit due to the Ford taking a zero to low positive offset wheel and the Impala needing a high positive offset wheel.

I think BryanB is correct. Since the Impala is FWD, the Explorer wheels would stick out alot due to the RWD offset.
