Okay, so I'm not so enthused about getting rims on my suv yet.....but I am having to get new tires this week, I am having difficulty with the fitment. I want to get a wider but not taller tire to help out the front end a little with it's "wimpy" look....the wheels are so far inside the wheel well that it looks really bad, I was hoping to get a slightly wider tire to help it out a little bit. Ford says "don't do it" and I'm not sure if they are serious or if they are just trying to give me grief...
Ford says that it will ultimately alter the ratio and that my sensors will not operate properly, but I can't imagine that small of a difference would impact my sensors.
Does anybody know about this?
Also, does anyone know about the Bridgestone Dueler A/T Revo?
Thanks,
Brian
