I'm sure everyones tired of hearing about this, but I am curious to know if they are going to recall the Bridgestone tires too. I've always heard that Brdigestone tires were made by Firestone. I have the dueler A/T on a 15 inch rim. A friend of mine has the dueler APT on a 16 inch rim. Is any of these on recall.

No, Bridgestone will not be part of the recall. Also, Bridgestone owns Firestone, not the other way around. By the way, a friend of mine had his tires replaced yesterday and got Duelers. Firestone told him to get the tires replaced anywhere (he went to Sears) and then return the recalled tires to Firestone and they would give him a $100 certificate for each tire (all five). So all he ended up paying was some sales tax (since the tires were about $90 each).

$90, mine cost me $108, and when I wrecked my explorer, they had to replace a tire and it cost the Ford dealership $112.

Where are they giving these $100 rebates. I'll take that offer.
