Well, didn't take any before pics. Had the truck lifted already when I rememebred I didn't take pics. But I know everyone has seen a stock explorer. Heres a few, click on the link below to see more. Just a directory, but I didn't want to go through the troubles to make a page.

Up on some rocks:

I went later that night and got up a lot higher on that pile, but I didn't have any more film, also my lights were shining up and you could see the beams from the dust all over the place, it looked awesome.

I know, it isn't the best, but I am gonna go out and get more next weekend, and take more action pics. Hope you guys like them, tell me what you think.

I would like to do some more mods, but I am not sure yet how much longer I will keep it. I know I will have it until I graduate, just now a Junior, sO I still have 1 1/2--2 years till that comes. Plus it is only a 2wd, so I don't wanna go too extreme for basically no reason at all. But I would like to do some mods. I was thinking of maybe the Warrior Shackle and some coil spacers up front for about and inch more of lift, I don't wanna go too much, because I have heard of some bad problems with alignment. What do you think I should do next?

Man, after lookin at those pics, they are starting to look more and more pitiful :(. I am gonna go back out there next weekend and do some better things to get better pics. I am gonna go as far up that rock pile as my hitch will let me, notice that?? The second time I did it I just about hit it, I will take it off next time. Anyways, that rock pic looks worse too, I thought it looked goo d at the time, but now it don't look so great. I really like that coming up the hill pic, though. Oh, yeah thanks for the compliments though, I feel better. I will definately have to go out again, even thoguh it will mean me going and detailing the car agaiun cause all the dust that got all over the door cracks, and window cracks. Oh well, it is fun. I am also gonna try and get a pic of me goin through that creek. Can't wait :) .

That first pic, coming down the dusty trail is spectacular! The light blinding off of the windshield.

I think its looks great I bet it looks better with the new rotors...

Sorry bout your troubles after installing them. I had just as many or more. Since it was the first Tiem I ever did Brakes.

Not your fault Kris...I am having more problems now, and I'm not goin to be driving it for a day or two. At slow speeds the driver's sdie front is squeeling, and at high speeds it is ticking, so I am going to take it down to Goodyear and have them check the front bearings, pads, and rotors, make sure they are in right, and if not fix them for me. Hopefully it won't cost too much seeing as they love to charge a lot just for "checking" things, then it costs even more to fix the things, even if it is something little. Oh well, I guess thats how they make their money?? Thanks though.

Hey Rock, are you sure you greased the caliper slide pins correctly? Thats most likely what your sqeal is.

Are the slide pins the things that hold the caliper on? I didn't grease those at all!! I didn't know I was supposed to. Too, late though, we already took it in and it is sitting in the parking lot to be fixed tomorrow morning. Oh well.

Keeping those greased is supposed to keep the pulsing brake problem away. I used to have a problem on cold or damp days with the back brakes suddenly locking up when braking, greasing the slide pins cured that too.

Well...I guess Kris sold me some bad stuff. I went in after school this afternoon and it was still sitting up on the lift. He told me that I eeded new pads, rotors, and seals. I told him that I just put the stuff on and he told me that all the stuff was under specs. I guess I have just bought a $100 worth of crap. And now the total for the new stuff is close to $400. I am pissed. One because I bought some used crap, and two I have to buy new stuff because of that. That is $500 that I could've spent on something else.

Rock i just sent you a private message.

Well, I would just like to tell everyone that Kris did not sell me some bad parts, and we are trying to figure out why they replaced them with new ones when the rotors I bought from him have a 90,000 mile warranty, and they only had 10,000 on them. The new brakes are already squeeking!! I am taking it back once I get time and having them replace them for free seeing as they did put a 12 month/12,000 mile replacement warranty on the pads and rotors, so that will be taken care of once I get some time. But, I just wanted to say sorry to Kris about saying he sold me some crap, I just didn't know they were fine because the shop told me that the pads and rotors were eaten up, which they look fine, and the pads have plenty of pad left. Anyways, sorry and don't think that Kris sells bad stuff, I was just mad at the time because of the whole situation and I have bought some stuff from him before and they have been fine, so if you want to buy a part from him, don't think he sells bad stuff because of what I said earlier. But, a buddy of mine took more pics at the same place, except even muddier, so I will see if they are good and try and scan them and put them up here. But, the trails we went on have been blocked off. Right on top of that hill I am climbing in that pic, is a big 4 ft tall pile of dirt, so that sucks, we (me and my friends) are going to try and talk to the owner and tell him if he gives us permission to go back there and go off-raoding and mudding, that we will clean up the area and stuff. But we are gonna try to get a hold of him some time.

Ok, update on the explorer. Got another after pic. I got a brushguard and here's the pic of it. http://albums.photopoint.com/j/ViewPhoto?u=1105850&a=10343594&p=34912360

I like the way the lights have that blue tint with the camera flash, looks pretty dang cool if you ask me.

Rock-
That looks great with the grillguard on there. I am looking at doing the same thing with mine, and putting lights on there. That just pushed me even more to do it. Looks great!

Doesn't it? I love that thing. Althouht it does get pushed towards the truck every once and a while, because I don't think I have it mounted in the right holes. I will work on it some day, or I will drill another hole and put another botl in it to keep it from hinging. Thanks for the compliment.
