well..... it all started when my *cough* buddy *cough* (JamesT) pussed out on me sunday and left me hanging without a chopsaw..... I ran out of cutoff discs so I put a 7" disc from the skil saw on the 4 1/2" grinder...... it worked great for most of the day then I forgot about it and grabbed it without looking.... turned it on and when it started it torqued pretty hard and it bit me.... I threw it across the yard, put a bandaid on and went to Tractor Supply.... :D

Thats a massive grinder.. My neighbor let me borrow his that look similiar to it.. It was HEAVY, your arms felt like you spent the day in the gym..

Those Black & Decker Bobcat grinders are good ones, similar in size to the one in the pic below.

I used one for 12-14 hours a day for 2 years straight as a pipeline welder's helper up in Hermeston, OR. (back in the day...lol I was 17-18 years old :D ) Every day you have to have a few just to quit the vibrations in your joints...:p: It did alot for upper body strength though.

Good choice for cutting though... sorry about the injury.

Nice.

Those giant metal erasers are deadly, I acually stalled Wolf's one time, it almost ripped my arms off. Sure felt like it did.
