I'm not really an off-roader, just use my 92 4x4 Sport for towing my 3,000lb boat, and other recreation use.

I too need to replace the ATX's. I am considering the Goodyear Wrangler RT/S (ford replaces at dealer in Detroit). Or Michelin LTX M/S or A/T. I'm told that since I have 4x4 and not 4x2 the M/S is not approved for 4x4 use by Ford Motor Co. ANY THOUGHTS.. These tires have come highly recommended in my area. And I'm told the MS have the smoothe ride.
