Well, I don't have a stock picture, but I think we all know what the stockies look like by now so I'll just show you an after...

A fabbed prerunner bumper w/skid plate, rear bumper w/ tire carrier, and rocker protectors are on the way...

All of this is taking my truck to the Top Truck Challenge, which I plan to be in either 2003,2004, by which time it won't be my daily driver and will be running 37" tires...

Nice rig. I like how you are with the black theme- tinted windows, nerf bars, and blackout light covers. Now, is your pre-runner bumper going to be black? I have a black theme on mine with the brush guard, windows, bug shield, and soon to come taillight guards and rock sliders-(those are a bit farther away) None of that chrome stuff for me!

Yep, I traded up for some BFG Mudders. I love em', but they get me into so much more trouble than my other tires did(trail-wise). Great fun though! :)

Still a great looking Explorer. I thought you already had your new pre-runner bar installed. I'm the guy that bought your smaller pre-runner bar you originally had. I have it installed and have designed a stronger mod that I'm welding on next week. Hopefully it will be alittle stronger. Can't wait to see your truck with 37s!!!

I put of the installation of the front bumper until I was also completely done with the rear bumper/tire carrier, which is why it's taken a little while.

I'd love to see how ya got that rear bumper/tire carrier once it is done...I'm designing my own to build with alot of 2in x 3in box steel..But I want to see all I can for more ideas...I'm gonna try and make a set up for the rear and unless I find some thick plates of steel and someone who can cut and weld em around here, im most likely gonna buy some sorta pre fabbed front bumper...

I'm actually using metal piping instead of flat steal. I'm forming it using a hydralic pipe bender, and its taken me a while to get them made just because its a pain trying to find a hydralic bender that can do it without crimping the frickin bends.

I'll post some picture when I'm done
