My BRAND new fog light cracked! Both of them...what's up with that?????????

I will be returning them to Summit and getting my money back. Where can I get some of those PIAAs?

what brand did you get? I remember us having this conversation a while back, thats interesting they just cracked... you can get PIAA's just about anywhere that sells lights. A few sites that come to mind are http://www.carparts.com, http://www.autobulbdepot.com, http://www.4wheelparts.com, and several others. If you want a local place you can go to http://www.piaa.com and do a dealer search in your area. Otherwise go to http://www.altavista.com and search for PIAA, you can narrow it down by the model number you want like PIAA 40 or whatever... hope that helps. By the way, saw the pic of your Explorer, that's a cool color!

I don't know what brand they were honestly...I ordered them from summit racing. I am gonna go to that PIAA website and find someone near me. Damn things oughtta last more than 2 weeks!!!

well... you get what you pay for... PIAA's website also has some great information on comparing the lights so you can decide which ones you want. I don't recall how you mounted your old set but PIAA makes some that fit in the factory fog location (if you have the factory fogs) or on top of the bumper, below it, etc. The list of applications for the vehicles is not nearly accurate though, if you want to know what models will fit your explorer let me know.

Sorry to hear about your experience. Anyway, somewhere in my basement I have a pair Piaa 959's, new in the box. They will only mount w/ the light hanging below the mounting bracket ( I'll clarify if you find this confusing).
They have the yellow ion crystal bulbs, 85w . If you are interested let me know. I paid around $250 for them, however I could not find a practical place to install them and as I am now selling my truck I really have no need for them. cmccall54@hotmail.com

My air damn doesn't have a spot for fogs. I had mine specially mounted around my license plate...well you know..you probably saw the pic. They are small ones but a start.

Gonna email CM and see what he wants for his. Unfortunatley I don't have 250.00 to spend on lights, or I won't be able to get my safari rack and grille gard. Or my sun roof, step bars, lift kit..oh I could go on and on and on...

dont fret Friskey, not all PIAA lights are $250... the PIAA 40 fog lights you can pick up the PIAA 40's at around $100, they aren't as good as the higher end ones, but better then the ones you have I guarantee...
