I was wondering if anyone had any pictures of lowered Ford Explorer Sports?? I have a 95, and I am looking for ideas right now and right now I am leaning toward lowering it 2" or so. Does anyone know what it would cost me to get this done? And also what size wheels you would recommend for this? Thank you much

Check the "Before & After" section. There is a Sport lowered and equipped with a Cobra R rims.

Jornum1 has a lowered Sport (looks like 1999?) as well. Nice truck also.

Yes my '99 sport is lowered 1 3/4 inches. I have 17x8 Enkei rimis with 255/55/17 michilen Pilots. Its basicly the same as a 95, I just have bigger fender flares, and a different front bumper. Here is a pic of it. Its not too good. It doesnt do it any justice. I have my digital camera now, I will take some maybe today.
If you want I do have a pic of my truck lowered with stock wheels also. Its easy to lower. You can get a kit from explorer express. If I were to do it again though i would get at least 18s. I am not into the whole chrome wheel thing. I like sporty wheels. But the wheel wells are way to big for even my 17s. But it still looks good, but I think with 20s it would look alot better. They are big bucks though.

I thought I'd post a picture of the Arctic SportTrac.

sorry it took so long for me to respond slick, havent check the board in a while. I made the headlight covers. I bought some clear ones, and a friend of mine who works at a body shop painted the inside of them. We just cut out some 3" circles and measured where I wanted them. I taped them on, and painted. They work nice. I dont use them anymore though. I have clear corners for the fronts now, and am waiting for my altezzas to come in.
