i don't know if this has been asked yet, so here goes. i know piaa makes the superwhites for the 9007 headlights, now, do they make them (superwhites) for the factory fogs as well? the reason i ask is that if i decide to finally break down and buy the 9007's, the fogs will still have that yellow hue, won't they. that would, in my humble opinion, render the fogs useless. just curious...

that depends on the model of fog lights and the bulbs it use. If it uses H3 like the manual says, they do. If they use the 699's, they don't. Might want to check out by actually pulling out the bulb rather then looking in the manual.

Hmm, I have always wanted to know that. I have super whites for my headlights, and I always drive with my fog lights on. The only problem, my fog lights look like an ugly yellow. I have a 95` Explorer, so that means I have the rectangle fog lights (I will throw in a couple of pictures). Wouldn't mind finding out some information so I can get rid of the yellow fog light look, and make them start to look like my headlights (super white)!

ok well, you can pull the bulb from the fog light (should be a fairly easy procedures). It may have a model number on the housing for the bulb itself, it may not... ifs got the bulb that is attached to a approximately 2" long "string" you've probably got an H3... if its not, its probably a 699.

Mine are 899 and I ordered a set of 894's. I looked at an auto parts store and both bulbs had the same ratings, wattage and looked exactly the same.

I have the Xenon 894s in Super White for my fogs and they look/work great.
