I just bought Hiper Xenon 80/100 watt lights. They were 20 bucks, so I figured why not? I've searched all over the website, but haven't found an answer to my question: Since these are higher wattage bulbs, has anyone done any damage to their bulb housing or wiring? Sorry if this has been answered before, but I don't need any more problems.
Thanks

I've had mine for only a week and no problems yet (I'm not really expecting problems). I love 'em. I had to order the ones for the fog lamps. It looked too yellow compared to the Xenon's.

I've been running Xenon's for about 3 months with no problems...you'll love 'em!

while I think its rare, the possibility does exist for damage to the wiring...

I had high power lights on my old 93 explorer. i ended up burning and actually melting my wire harness after about a year and a half of the high wattage bulbs. In my new explorer i have the piaa bulbs that just came out. i think they are great and i can see a whole lot more .
good luck
