New to the board and I have just put my 97 Explorer through MOT.

Needless to say it failed or I wouldn't be posting on here :(
However, I was wondering if any of you either have spares for these parts you would be happy to sell or whether you know or have a list of breakers yards that seem to have explorers in them.

I have rang Equicar and am still waiting for their call back but it would be nice to get a few competitive quotes.

The parts I need are offside front lower ball joint & Both rear leaf spring shackle brackets.

Any tips in fitting these parts greatly appreciated.

The shackles are available from Ford

part number 4070013 and are £37 each.

ball joints can be got from Ebay..

Contact Howard on those parts, I'd suggest going with Moog parts, the ones on Ebay are inferior in my opinion, you want a quality balljoint that will last, those chinese produced ones quite frankly don't.
