Jd0gg919 05-14-2008, 08:29 PM Preciate it. I didn't know it was his thread.
Charlie 05-14-2008, 10:06 PM Those rims seem to be getting popular. Are you going to get them?
RoadBully 05-23-2008, 01:04 AM I'll probably be installing my DC-1's on saturday, I'll post you a pic when I get them on, Next gen X, but at least you'll get an idea.
cheers
Ben.
RoadBully 05-31-2008, 02:46 AM I know it's a 3rd gen, but here's the DC-1's on my X.

Paraphoe 06-01-2008, 09:16 PM GREAT looking truck, Ben. Love the rims with those tires!
RoadBully 06-02-2008, 08:41 AM Thanks :)
Jd0gg919 07-01-2008, 11:39 PM Wondering if someone could photoshop that same pic for me with these rims instead.
Same rims different color.

Jd0gg919 07-03-2008, 12:26 AM No one can help me out?
Charlie 07-03-2008, 12:34 AM I'd be more than happy to, but I don't have photoshop installed right now, long story:rant:
I miss it.
Jd0gg919 07-03-2008, 12:35 AM That sucks.
Thanks for the offer at least lol.
FROADER 07-03-2008, 11:35 AM .
Jd0gg919 07-03-2008, 11:38 AM Now that doesn't look to bad.
Thanks Colin.
Jd0gg919 07-30-2008, 10:25 PM So if anyone happens to be bored...how about putting these rims on that same pic for me?

Jd0gg919 07-31-2008, 11:05 PM Don't get them?? haha
Something I should be aware of or just opinion?
Thanks for the hubs by the way lol.
FROADER 07-31-2008, 11:12 PM :D Just an opinion. Since they are steel, they'll look cheap on your clean truck.
Turdle 07-31-2008, 11:14 PM I know everyone is getting them, but your first choice:thumbsup:
Jd0gg919 07-31-2008, 11:15 PM Yeah I guess you're right.
I can't find a decent 15 inch rim that I like, and if i go to 16's tires are a lot more expensive.
But i guess you gotta pay to play right?

I think 17's are less than 16's if I'm not mistaken.
Jd0gg919 07-31-2008, 11:24 PM I'll have to look into that.
I wonder how those rims you powdercoated would look...hmm...lol
Charlie 08-01-2008, 01:06 AM I'll have to look into that.

2 opinions..first, relating to the post I'm quoting....
Honestly, as nice as powdercoated rims would be, think about the cost of all that (shipping, ect)
If you were considering that, I would suggest getting some aluminum rims instead.
About those other rims, that FROADER doesn't like, I don't like them either. They don't come with a rear centercap, apparently:p::p:
:D
Jd0gg919 08-01-2008, 01:10 AM Haha, centercaps are for squares.
But the shipping costs would defiantely make the pockets less deep, but I also don't think the gray from my X and the gray on the rims would go together to well.
Jd0gg919 08-14-2008, 12:15 PM Can anyone photoshop some Ranger Fx4 rims onto my X??

Maybe some side-steps instead of the running boards? Preciate it.
FROADER 08-14-2008, 12:47 PM .
Jd0gg919 08-14-2008, 03:25 PM The last one is the ticket. That looks sick. How about with black rims?
FROADER 08-14-2008, 03:54 PM Slave driver... brb with that one massa. :p:
EDIT:
Jd0gg919 08-15-2008, 02:33 PM Slave driver haha.
Thanks for making all these pics for me though.
Jd0gg919 08-21-2008, 05:18 PM So I took my running boards off today and steps are going to be next on the purchase list(or a tranny if it goes in the near future). I found these steps and I cant decide if I would like 4 single steps or step bars.
http://www.andysautosport.com/ford/1995_2000_explorer/exterior/side_steps/go_rhino/gorh00014587.html
If someone could make a pic with these for me, I'd be happy? haha
Thanks,
Justin
FROADER 08-21-2008, 06:18 PM How about I save myself some time and just tell you that IMO, 4 individual steps will NOT look good. :)
Jd0gg919 08-21-2008, 06:19 PM That works for me.
ringpop1 08-21-2008, 07:17 PM I agree. Steel rims look cheap.
Jd0gg919 09-08-2008, 09:01 PM Black grill? Who can help me out?
FROADER 09-08-2008, 09:12 PM :p:
Jd0gg919 09-08-2008, 09:15 PM Thanks, slave. J/K
I'm trying to save money and painting a grill shouldn't be to expensive. I like that look just maybe a gloss black and not so flat.
Preciate it as always.
Jd0gg919 04-08-2009, 08:47 PM Didn't want to make a new thread so i figured i'd continue with this one. I think i might have found a winner for my rim choice
http://www.4wheelparts.com/Wheels/M-T-SideBiter-Wheel.aspx?t_c=11&t_s=210&t_pt=100039&t_pl=10088&t_pn=M%2fT158421
If someone could PS them to this pic that'd be sweeeet.
Jd0gg919 04-09-2009, 08:25 AM Bump
Turdle 04-09-2009, 08:34 AM I think the fx4 wheels in smoked chrome would be your ticket, but, hey, that's just my opinion.
I found a few sets of 16's on ebay--under "ranger" and" escape" wheels--
Jd0gg919 04-09-2009, 08:43 AM You dont like the sidebiters?
I would do that but i dont know anyone with an oven big enough to powdercoat them but you. and i'd have to pay shipping to and from you for 4 rims, yikes!
99MercMount 04-09-2009, 09:58 PM Sloppy copies, but youve been waiting so paciently I figured Id help ya ouot until frouder can make a perfect replica :D

Jd0gg919 04-11-2009, 01:23 AM Preciate it man. If the other side-view pic from the other posts would be easier to use you can do that too.
