Tried a search to no avail. Does anyone know any reason why these wouldn't fit my Ex? Will it require an adaptor of some sort?

Assuming those are the factory rims (they look like the ones on our '06 mustang) those are 17x8" rims with a 45mm offset with 5 on 4.5" bolt pattern.

The bolt pattern will fit, but I'm not sure if the offset will. I know on older mustang they have to use a spacer to fit.. but I don't know if that applies to the Explorer.

The price they are asking isn't great, but its "ok". I've been using Take-offs for our mustang and I'm paying on average of $550 for a set of rims with new 235x55 pirelli tires (still have the nubs). I've been lucky and have found a couple sets within driving distance (< 150 miles). Shipping would have brought the price with tires up to about $700 per set..

Thanks for the info. I don't plan to buy that particular set but I do like the look of them and will keep an eye out for a better deal if I can locate a spacer set for them.

I do take my Ex wheelin on occassion so my only other worry about them is strength. If they can take the beating.
