hey i have a 1999 xlt ford explorer i am 16 and just got it for my first car, it runs and everything but there is a problem with it wen i accelerate somthing rattles briefly but every time i accelerate hard it does it we think it is the cattilac converter but im hopping it is somthing less expensive can anyone help me out on this

There is a heat shield over the converter(s) that sometimes, the spot welds break and will make it rattle.

do u know how much it would cost to get it fixed

Welcome to this forum! Anything which is loose is going to rattle. Take a look underneath, and see if you could locate the noise by shaking things.
