OK, so I bought a wiring kit from best buy, the one that plugs to the factory harness. I plugged it in and matched up all the wires from the aftermarket cd player. I turned the cd player on and there was power, but no sound? I doubled checked the wires, and they are all right. Any ideas?

Did you connect any of the blue turn on wires? YOu may need to if you have a factory amp.

The adapter that plugged into the factory harness should have a blue wire coming out and it should connect to the blue wire from the aftermarket deck. 1 or both may be blue with white stripe.
