Hey, I have a '99 4.0 4x2 and was wondering if anyone knew offhand what the stock gear ratio is? I'm going to be trading in the stock 225/70s for a set of BFG 31s. How much loss in acceleration can I expect?

The label on the door panel says code 95. There's no 95 on any chart I can find. There's a code 96 = 3:73

Deebo,get down under your truck and look at the differential cover on the back of your axle. One of the bolts should have a metal tag hanging off it. Your gear ratio will be on it. Post what it says here if you can't decipher it.

Gimp, I figure on a '99, his diff is untouched, but ya never know.
