My explorer has been sitting for about a year and I decided to put it back on the road. When I turned on A/C all I got was air that was the same temp as outside air.

Any suggestions on what I should try next before I head to a garage to have them check freon and seals?

Thanks for you input.

Johnny

You can check the charge level and look for leaks yourself.

I think I am having the same problem as you, I know I have refrigerant though. Try changing that before you take it to someone. A local shop hotwired the compressor on my wife's car when it was having the same problem and it ended up costing about 1300 bucks to fix.
