There is just something about a 2wd that has a lift and tires that is really trick looking. Very nice looking.

Hey Brian, have you tried e-mailing Rick to see if you can get a feature on the site? We need a few 2wds up there, and trckmagik is the only 2wd up there right now, and I wouldn't get a feature because mine is small compared to yours and trckmagik's.

I'll talk to Rick at Truckhaven and see. I know that he swamped.

How did you get rid of the holes left by the rocker panel? I'm removing the panels this weekend. Where it connects on the bottom is easy to remove. But where it attaches to the side of the truck those things are a pain.

mine never had them so I'm not sure what you could do so it looks factory. Unless you have them welded up and then paint them. Good luck with 'em though. See you next weekend.

Would you be interested in selling the rocker panels you took off?? Get at me either here or via email, cyriz@spinn.net, thanks

Where are you located? I 'm curious to what the shipping would cost. I'm in southern california. I have no idea on what to sell them for either..I guess a resonable offer.

The side skirt thingies are off!!! :bounce: LOL..the truck does look higher. When i went to step in i had to take a second look to make sure i lifted my leg up high enough to get in. Thought this would make you happy. I had an idea of instead of getting the front fenders i would get the rear so when i jump i dont eat up the tires anymore. Then you could put my tires on the front of your truck and i'll keep my back ones on...Then you could take a pic and then put the 2 trucks together to see what it would look like with both the front and rear fenders on. lol

That's good. I hope I will have enough money by summer to get the rear glass. I can't wait!

Did you get the wholes filled and everything?

Gopher

no, as of right now the holes are still there. It doesnt look to bad with the holes. With Truckhaven, Mammoth, insurance, and the buying of books i am done. I have no money. It sucks. I'm eating cup a noodles poor. So, i'm going to live with the holes on the side for now. It's going to be while before i can do another mod.

By the end of the year you going to have that 4 link all hooked up? :smoke:

Probably not until the end of next year for all of the new suspension stuff do be done. Winter still has to figure out the best way to do it. Not sure about the front end. Straight axle, F150 beams or control arms. We'll see. Whatever he decides it's going to be insane!

My latest mod is getting the tranny rebuilt, it's in the shop right now. $1,400. 8(

what can they do to build up the tranny. I want a shift kit in mine so bad. But there is nothing out there. I want the tranny to shift harder and lock up better in each gear.
My girlfriends acura is an auto, but when you drive it it feels like a stick. When you rev it and then let off, it keeps it in the rpm instead of shifting.
Where did you take your tranny?
I'll email you next time..well i guess this works too.

Fountain Valley Transmission

He said he was going to put a shift kit and beafier hard parts for me. Should be a little stronger now, but it's still an A4LD aka: "piece of crap" We'll see. I might be going to Anza on the 10th with my dad and some of his friends. Of course I'm going to make a trip over to Truck Haven to run the wash and climb a few hills. If you want to join us, you're more than welcome.

Let me know.

Also....peter and Tom....thank you for the pics. Next time i'll ask to use them..sorry about that.

Tranny works great! I love the shift kit he put in there. It shifts nice and hard so I can feel it hit the next gear. I don't like how my mom's '95 is so smooth and slow when shifting. I have to take it back soon for final adjustments and then it's all cool.

Gopher

hmm.what shift kit..Is it the Trans-go? Did it help alot with lock-up..like flooring it off the line? Also, where did you get your gears done at?

FROADER

I'm not sure of the shift kit. I haven't talked to the guy yet. My mom picked it up for me because I work later than the tranny shop stayed open. Winter did my gears at his shop he worked at at the time. Glenn's Alignment, in Costa Mesa. The shift kit does help the lock up, plus the new tranny doesn't hurt either. It doesn't slip anymore. Is your tranny starting to slip and shift weird?

Hey check this out

I would like to know how many times you have posted this pic? I have seen it like 15 times. But don't worry about it because every time i see it, i wonder how in the hell you fit them tires. Don't stop posting it, because i'm amazed every time. lata
