Hi All!

I just joined, this looks like a great site!

I have been doing a lot of reading your posts in regards for soon to come upgrades on my 2000 XLS Sport, OHV.

First, I want to get an engine performance boost. So I plan on installing a KKM, Superchip, and larger exhaust. Hopefully this will give me an additional 30 HP or so. I only bought this XLS Sport with the OHV becuase of a great deal due to hail damage. I wanted an EB with V8, but I couldn't pass on this deal. I am pretty handy with tools and 'round cars, so it sounds simple. Any advice for me, or additional easy mods for the OHV?

Secondly, I plan to do the shackles (and/or add-a-leaf) with the torsion twist. This sounds simple also. Since I have the Firestone's I am hoping I can buy 31" BFGs and get some of their cost re-imbursed from Firestone. Any other advice? Thanks!

I have been reading up on all of the other messages in these forums, and these tasks look pretty simple. Any advice/insight would be great! Thanks again!

Welcome to the site Fishrising! This is a great site and we are lucky to have such great members here.

It sounds like you have everything pretty well worked out for yourself. I have plans to do some of the same mods you are looking to do. I have a set of add-a-leaf's and Borla exhaust on its way to me right now. I just need to order my shocks and I'll be set! If you haven't seen it yet and you mentioned you are looking at Superchips, check out http://www.smartyparts.com for this. It seems like we have a few members from CT around here, check out the Serious Explorations Forum to see if there is anything going on around you! An again, welcome to the best site around!
