Hi, im the new guy. I figure I'll say this before I lead anyone on. I am 15 and fiured I would soak up some info on Ford Rangers/Offroading before I go out and get my Ranger next year. I want a Ranger because the insurance SHOULD be cheaper and I like the thought of a bed and they are cheaper than explorers. Explorers can carry more people but cost more. If anyone has suggestions or questions feel free to ask. I am here to learn so I might not post that much unless its questions or statements. I would hate to say something and it be wrong. Thanks.

I owned a '99 Ranger and one thing I can suggest is to get the 4WD. Mine was a 2WD and I regreted not paying extra for 4WD. It's worth the extra $4,000 on the sticker price.
