Everything looks good on the radio, but I get no sound. It will auto tune, show the volume control etc., but I get no sound at all. I have checked the fade and balance to no avail.

That went out on mine, and everything appeared to operate normal, just without sound. Are all of the fuses good? Verno 03-25-2009, 09:52 AM Are your speakers connected? Not trying to be funny here, turn volume to max, turn off, then on with an ear next to a speaker. Do you hear anything? dae06 03-25-2009, 09:58 AM Charlie- I assume everything is stock. How do I get to the amp? I hear absolutely nothing when I turn it on or off. The fuses all look good. Verno- I did think of that, but where do the wires connect and how do I get to them. I can not figure out how to get the radio out. I did feel behind there through the glove compartment opening, but really couldn't tell if anything was missing. You can get it at most parts stores. It still may be hard to get out like mine was. I had to remove the whole radio bezel and release the clips from the rear. dylan15hawk 04-13-2009, 01:28 PM my sport trac stock radio does not work all it will do is light up when i turn my lights on and it shows the time and if i hit the tape or eject buttons all it will say is no tape or no disc. can anyone help me with this problem? |
