I got a 1993 ford explorer and I seem to be having major problems. When I bought the vehicle it had an aftermarket stereo installed but for some reason the rear speakers didn't work. I found out that the rear speakers wasn't wired to work and not only that the previous owner cut the factory harness. I bought a new wiring harness and radio harness to wire them back to the wires that were cut. The problem is after I installed my stereo back only the cd player would turn on and the display didn't illuminate. I figured it was a problem with the fuse for the stereo but it was fine. I tried another stereo I had but it wouldn't turn on at all. Any help is greatly appreciated and Thanks!

It sounds like a problem with your wiring. Check to make sure your 2 power wires and the ground are in the right places...do you have a test light?

I'm going to get a test light from autozone really quick since its around the corner, then I'll give you an update. Thanks again!

Ok I just tested the Constant 12V+ to the battery is working perfect but somehow the Switched 12V+(Ignition Wire) isn't working for me. Does that mean I'm screwed then? :(

Nope. Check the fuse. And if all else fails, Put constant power to the radio. It's annoying but it works.
