ok so i own a 99 sport if you guys dont know me from all the stupid questions on here yet haha. but anyway im going to be buying this pioneer sub off amazon: http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-TS-W302R-12-Inch-Subwoofer-800-Watt/dp/B0012NON3O/ref=finder_ca_f_s5_tit?ie=UTF8&pf%5Frd%5Ft=101&pf%5Frd%5Fm=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf%5Frd%5Fp=436954501&pf%5Frd%5Fs=center-5&pf%5Frd%5Fr=1C475ECD9FPK4Y14ZWQW&pf%5Frd%5Fi=720940011 to power it im getting this amp which i will bridge: http://www.amazon.com/Pioneer-GM-3300T-2-Channel-300-Watt-Amplifier/dp/B000LYCWLU/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1238870300&sr=1-2 now that you know what im workign with, heres my question.

while this vehicle is mine, from time to time my dads dodge ram which has 500k miles on it breaks down and he borrow my vehicle since im at school. i want to install a switch to the sub so that if someone else is driving my car they can easily turn it off so it doesnt bother them. my question is, im pretty naive when it comes to stuff like this so how would i instlal this switch? what wires need to be spliced to be attached to the switch? any help is appreciated. please dont try talking me out of this either as i am set on having a kill switch on this. thanks in advance for the help!

that is an easy one,, the amp turn on wire , the blue one,, put a switch on it,, than it won't come on,

oh that is easy.. great thanks a lot. is there any cons to switching this off and on though? obviously i wont do it every other song but does it cause anything negative to the sub?
