Yo homies!!! my friends got a pimpin green civic and its got a problem!


okay, it has some sort of hesitation. If accelerating moderately (as opposed to quickly) the car may lose speed as though you had let off the throttle. after a few seconds it will suddenly "grab" and start to accelerate. this problem occurs about 70 percent of the time.

any solutions? need more info? I would like to get this diagnosed. thanks in advance!

When my Paseo had a hesitation during acceleration, I changed the spark plugs, spark plug wires, cap, and rotor. Problem solved for me.

Maybe consider changing the fuel filter also.

Any details on what has been done to solve the problem with greatly help the diagnosis.

in case anyone was curious, we figured out what was going on.
one of the ground wires got sheared off by something and was not completely attached, so the O2 sensor was only responding intermittently.

but its fixed now!
