OK ... So had this rig about a month now ... the grey trim annoys the ever living hell out of me ... especially seeing the interior is Brown ... wtf was ford thinking with that color combo ... lol

Anyhow ... I have wasted the past 2 hours trying to do a color replace in photoshop and can't remember how to do it so it doesn't make the original top blue color change too ... I know ... smack me

So if anyone could let me know what I am doing wrong under adjustments ... or wants to repost this pic with the grey trim and running boards shopped as black and another of them the original blue body match ... feel free

Thanks a ton!!!http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/1348/pa060061.jpg

Here are two very quick attempts. But you can kind of get the idea. Anyway if you wanted to do a more thorough job yourself, the way I did it was I selected the trim using quick mask mode then simply used the paint bucket with the effect on multiply.

I moved this to the photoshop forum. Check the stickies at the top for tutorials. If there is something that you still need help with, I can make a tutorial for that.

something that helps with the blending is once you make your selection with quick mask or lasso, make a new layer and put the color you want, then change the opacity to make it a little less harsh :D
