View Full Version : Super Bowl XXXV
NoBoundaries 01-28-2001, 11:36 AM It's Super Bowl day, Festivus Maximus. Any predictions???:)
It is my belief that the Ravens will win. What do you think?
95ExplorerLtd 01-28-2001, 11:47 AM I dunno, I dont keep up with football that much, I'd rather play it than watch it, but I think the Giants will win.
Okrazie1 01-28-2001, 11:50 AM I think it's going to be a low scoring, defensive game. But in the end, I think the Giants are going to take it.
Where is everybody going to watch the game? I just got a 55" HD-ready TV two weeks ago so I'm going to be planted in my recliner. :D
Stephen S 01-28-2001, 12:26 PM I'll be in my dorm room pulling for the Giants. Sad thing is, I only have a 19" TV. That 55" sounds like a better plan. What time does the game start anyway??
GJarrett 01-28-2001, 01:12 PM My prediction is that this year's Super Bowl will once again showcase the best new commercials of the upcoming year! :D
DOGMAN 01-28-2001, 01:47 PM GIANTS in a romp.
KSpride 01-28-2001, 02:15 PM I was starting to wonder if any one was going to start a thread like this. lol... I would have to say that the Giants are going to win. Even though I still wish my Chiefs were there....
DOGMAN 01-28-2001, 02:24 PM KSpride - Are you from Kansas City? I live in the metro area, and am a lifelong Chiefs fan. With Vermeil and the other new coaches, we've got a good chance of being in THE BOWL next year.
Oh say can you see .....
..... and the home of the CHIEFS!
If you've ever been to Arrowhead, you know what I'm talking about. VERY LOUD too!!!
KSpride 01-28-2001, 02:33 PM well, I am originally from right outside of KC, Leavenworth. But I live in NC now. But will forever be a chiefs fan. I know exactly what you mean by the noise. It is the best.
NoBoundaries 01-28-2001, 05:30 PM Come on, there's got to be someone out there for the Ravens?!
Tom Wilk 01-28-2001, 08:37 PM I might be a Ravens fan if that butthead, Art Modell hadn't stolen the team from Cleveland. At least we made him leave the Browns name here. He's such a cheapskate, every time we had a good player or coach, he traded them away.
Think of coach Paul Brown, Wide Receiver Paul Warfield, all kinds of greats that Art didn't want to pay. He always tried to run the team from the front office instead of letting the coach do it.
So, I want the Ravens to lose, not because of the team but because of the owner. Modell doesn't even deserve to be there, let alone win. Of course the fact that its 10-0 in favor of the Ravens right now doesn't help me out much.
NoBoundaries 01-28-2001, 09:52 PM :D
GRNMACHINE 01-28-2001, 09:56 PM im thinkin ravens 34, new york 7....
COMMOCOZY 01-28-2001, 11:52 PM WHAT A JOKE IS ALL I HAVE TO SAY
RU MAN 01-29-2001, 12:28 AM I really didn't care who won. BUT I WANTED TO SEE A GOOD GAME!!!
rock883 01-29-2001, 12:44 AM Well, I would have to say, Survivor was better than the Super Bowl, to me. I usually enjoy watching the SB, especially last year with the Titans, but this year the game sucked, nothing really exciting, except for the 3 touchdowns in less than 40 secs, which I missed cause the game was boring and I started flipping through the channels to find something else. I did, however, love that eyezone (or whatever it was called) shots. Very Matrixy, and looked especially cool on that one touchdown that the Ravens got that was reviewed.
RU MAN 01-29-2001, 12:47 AM Ok, the 3 TD's were cool, i'll give that to them.
